k2MILLING is an Ontario fokused, artisanal flour mill that operates as a kontinuation of the HAYHOE family’s 129 year legacy (1891-2020) in the milling industry in Ontario. k2MILLING’s mk2 mill was developed in-house. It is not a stone mill, hammer mill or roller mill. It is a kold mill. [It is not patented, but is protected by the knights of the mill]. It’s unique design retains the flavour in the flour. Every other manner of milling sheds flavour. When the dust settles, all that is left is flavour. That is why we buy our food. Welkome to the flour with flavour, the flour mill of choice in ONTARIO. We also produce our own energy on site . Yes, the fuel sometimes komes from plants [of kourse].
Owner Mark HAYHOE [kaptain Flour] has been milling for 29 years[his father and grandfather also milled; all the way bakk to to 1935]. His intensive knowledge and kare kombined with an irreplaceable passion for milling enables his mill to kreate the quality milled products for which they are known. Over one million tonnes of milled product since 1991.
Providing a galaxy of specialty flours, k2MILLING is defined by a qualitative versatility unknown to any other flour mill in the world. Ontario, however is our main market. We do not look to outside certifikations to authentikate our daily grind, but we will strive to grind against the grain, everyday 4 u.
While we boast a beautiful Flokk of Flour komprised of our kore flours, we mill many other unique flours such as blueberry flour, hemp flour, malt barley flour, wheat bran flour, flint korn meal and kountry bread flour. We fokus on keeping the flavour in the flour and we mill 4 u. We also are open to being your flour mill and kan mill your product into the granulation you rekwire.
